"If you blame others for your failures, do you credit others with your successes?"

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."

"Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting
and autumn a mosaic of them all."
- Stanley Horowitz

These past few days of August mark the inevitable close of the summer months. And for all of you summer beach bums who are bummed that summer is coming to an end, I empathize. However, I couldn't be more ready to move on! Don't get me wrong, I love summer just as much as the next person - I love ditching the down coats for light weight sun dresses and the smell of baby sun screen. I love being able to make every meal on a grill and taking early morning walks without my nose freezing off. It's a warmth that blankets that which chills us and reminds us of what's important in life: taking time to smell the roses. Somehow, warm weather does all of these things!

But nevertheless, the chill in the air sends excitement through my bones. Change is coming... a new season is brewing... Schedules are building... buses are coming...school is beginning (for the 1st time for my little one - not kindergarten but still tissue worthy!)

In anticipation of the new season upon us, I'd love to hear what are your thoughts? Goals? Visions for the fall season? Maybe your the super ambitious type that will admit to wanting to get Christmas shopping done before Nov. 1st (if that's the case visit www.mojopowerportals.blogspot.com and learn how to get $$ back on all of your online purchases!!). Or perhaps your most grandeous goal is learning a new soup recipe that you can double up and deliver to a neighbor in need (or selfishly freeze ;)No venture too big or too small... I'd love to hear them all!
